Unlocking Team Potential
For divisional and functional leadership teams turning direction into results
A leadership team below the executive turns enterprise direction into results through the combined contribution of its members. That depends less on individual talent than on whether the team can align around a shared purpose and work through the differences and dependencies that shape delivery.
The Work
We work on what the team can only achieve together. That starts with a vision for its part of the organisation that members act on when collective needs challenge individual preference, and priorities they genuinely own. We develop the conversations that reach the real issue and end in commitments people keep.
We also work directly with the patterns that pull members back into their own areas under pressure, building the trust that lets information move early. The work draws on Perspective-Taking and Holding Paradox and on Spacious Response from the Arc of Leadership Consciousness, developed as capacities of the team, with Systemic Seeing bringing the dependencies across the organisation into view.
Structure
Three to six months, shaped around the team’s live priorities. At the outset we agree with the team leader and their executive sponsor the measures the work will be held to. Regular sessions work on real decisions as they arise, and at the close we review progress against the agreed measures.
Outcomes

- ·Under pressure, the team takes the time to make considered choices together
- ·The team sees the dependencies that shape its delivery, and acts on them early
In performance
- ·The team moves with a shared vision and owns its collective priorities
- ·Delivery against plan becomes more consistent, with dependencies surfaced before they cause delays
- ·Differences between members are leveraged intentionally to improve decisions and delivery
- ·Accountability holds between members, without everything running through the leader
Often paired with a Leadership Partnership for the team’s leader.
